Update and writing compilation

Hello! It's been a while sense I posted, I've had some health issues to deal with (and still dealing with) but I am doing better! I did some writing earlier this year so this will be a collection of those recent works.


This first one is a rewriting of my poem "Oracle of Me" to be positive and self affirming. I'm still proud of that one but I almost like this version better.

Oracle of Me: Reverence. 1/19/2022


Only I know my mind, a place of reverence.

Only I dictate its steps, its journey through the Cosmos.


My temple is sacred, this form of flesh and blood. Tempered through fire and words.

The God is me, Holy Scripture falling from my own lips of the future.


My word is sacred, leading me with grace and Motherly Love.

I must become my own kindness, rebirth in a womb of my own making.


I must trust the words of honey, laced with good nature.

Its blinding faith trusting oneself, but the chalice will be filled with what is required,

You have all that you need, the Altar is already set.



Moon poem, 1/20/2022


My gaze always finds You and the light fills my lungs.

Teach me to go with the flow, to change with each phase as graceful as You do.


Wrap me in the cool calm of Your embrace, as gentle as the morning calmness.

Let me rest in your θηλυκός* touch so I can recharge for the battles I will face,

caring Your compassion on my shield.


*(thilykós, Greek meaning feminine)



Untitled blurb, 1/27/2021


He didn't smile often, but when he did it was blinding like the sun.

And I would risk going blind to stare into the sun face first just to bask in his smile.

Poem: Loki.

Loki, written 6/30/2021. Inspired by the character Loki (MCU). Why do you weep, oh little one? For your ears are sharp, your heart full, your head wreathed in gold. Mischief follows like a shadow, both yours and of nature. You cannot help it, for nature becomes you. The role you play is your own despite the forces that try and claim you as that which you are not. Mischief and folly and mistakes, falling down, feet finding their way, making amends, triumph and glory at the success of finding you. What makes a You a You? The answer, my slippery one, has always resided in your heart. But I cannot tell you, that you must search for yourself. A dagger it may be, but you are the one wielding it. A dagger you may be, but there are those willing to take the risk.  To trust The Trickster.

Poem: Dance With Me.

Dance With Me, written 7/1/2021. Inspired by dance scenes in period movies. Usually these parties are dull, but not tonight. Something is different, my energy taunt with need. The music swells, strings fast and dramatic. The swish of long gowns and tailcoats, a clink of precious gems set in gold. A large warm hand on my waist, my hand held like a priceless treasure. Eyes meet wide with longing, a conversation said with no words. Breath quick but soft. In public we can't… I want to… later Dear… On and on we go, swinging in circles around the room like a bird fluttering in a cage. Confined by social rules but not for long.  Whispers carry but we care not, lost in our own world of connection.  Do we hate? Do we love? Are they one in the same? Our feelings bind us regardless.
